Chillicothe is located in central Illinois. The Illinois River borders Chillicothe on the East while many acres of rolling topography surrounds the community on the other boundaries. Because of our close proximity to Peoria (which is just 15 miles away), virtually every amenity imaginable, if not available in Chillicothe, is "right next door!"
 
We are fortunate to have Illinois Route 29 connect our community with Peoria's 474 loop just 8 miles to the south.
